Using Photos on my MacBook Pro

Can I remove photos in the "Imports" folder once I have edited them and saved them in Albums or Projects?

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

No, it is just Photos showing the same file in the library over and over again in different contexts. So no extra storage required.

No. Imports is a system generated view into the library. Since it is just another way of looking at all the images, if you delete an image from Imports, Photos will delete it from the whole library.

Is the fact that these images are showing in multiple places within the Photos App, is not taking up extra storage space?
