USB-C to MagSafe2 cable or adapter?
Is there a solution to use an USB-C PD charger for my 13" Macbook Pro (early 2015)?
I've found these items on eBay but not sure if they are reliable/safe:
MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

Ok finally I gave it a go and I can confirm it works as a charm:
Satechi Type-C 75W travel charger
with both of these:
So I have to carry only one charger for all my devices when I travel.
I think there is just too much scaremongering in regards of USB-C chargers and cables. It think most of the it to sell Apple's overpriced branded accessories. Obviously you must be careful about specs and quality because you can burn your MacBook (btw, shouldn't it protect itself against faulty chargers? ).

There is a complex protocol ("USB Power delivery") that involves the power adapter stating its capabilities and the device asking for the charging level it prefers. It was implemented with the USB 3.1 spec. It will , as kaz-k suggests NOT WORK on older Macs.
The MagSafe Power adapter and its compatible computers use a very primitive version of that, but they are not compatible.
Use the power adapter designed for your Mac. You can use this document to find it:

Hi,
Not sure why you try to use USB-C power adapter, though you'd better get power adapter which suits your MacBook Pro.
I think they don't work.
