my space bar is double spacing sometimes...

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today. As I am understanding, your MacBook Air space bar will give you double-spaces at times.

You can try isolating this issue further by testing in a new user account: How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac. If you do find the issue happens there as well, there is a possibility there is a hardware issue with your keyboard. You'd then want to contact support.
