I have an iPhone X that is on ios 12.1.2 and when i Facetime and try to take a live photo it tells me "this feature must be enabled on both devices". It is enabled on my device and enabled on all of my friends devices. Please help, I am not sure what to do.

I was having this problem, too. Make sure that there are no software updates, then go to Settings>FaceTime>Sign Out. Then restart your iPhone. After that, Go back to FaceTime settings and sign in again. I have fixed mine that way.
