Tonight Sopcast started to keep crashing and quitting unexpectedly . I have used it for years now without any issues until tonight.
I tried changing system preferences apps to be downloaded for anywhere , i re installed the app and the overall MacOs software is up to date.
Can someone please help? Quite desperate to get my TV shows back on.

Well, you did it right, was just checking, but I guess that wasn't the problem.
If you haven't I'd uninstall it, restart, then reinstal SopCast for Mac 1.3.5...

Network Pref Pane, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab>little + icon.
Try putting these numbers in...
8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Oh, did you Apply after you put those numbers in?
What does it say now foe DNS in Network Pref Pane, highlight Interface>Advanced button>DNS tab?

Sorry, I don't use it... not enough data allowance.
That is the latest version, but even if you're running the latest version it sometimes requires re-installing after an OS update.
Yes i tried it ... still no luck... it doesnt make sense i didnt change anythin and two days ago was working perfectly fine. Now everytime i try to open a channel bam, crashes....

i tried this as well.... still no luck... i thinks its a system wide issue. Should i try and give a call to apple support?

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
