Podcasts play in high speed with no way to correct. They all sound like chipmunks.
Podcasts play on my iPhone X in high speed, voices sound like chipmunks. Is there a way to fix this?

Perhaps you have the speed control set to 2x.
Tap that icon. It should then switch to ½x. Tap it again and it should switch to 1x, which is the normal speed.
Each time you tap the icon, the speed control toggles between:
- 1x
- 1½x
- 2x
- ½x
- 1x
