XCode showing as a download instead of update

Hi, I was just trying to update XCode on my mac but I don't see a "UPDATE" button. Instead, the app store shows me the "cloud download icon" as if it's not on my mac. XCode is running perfectly on my Mac without any issues. What should I do?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Then I would install the newer version.

Xcode 10.1 was released 4 months agp. If yours is older I would download the version from the App Store.
