News widget doesn’t display content

Hi,

Since 5 days, my News widget doesn’t display content, on my iPhone and my iPad (it’s works usually...).

I have tried to change region to USA and uninstall News, then reinstall it : it displays News in USA but when I put the region to France (my region), the widget didn’t works and displays a message (look attached screen).

I have also tried to log out my iCloud, but it’s the same result...

iOS version : 12.1.4

iPhone language and region : France.

Could you help me?

If you have the News widget on your lock screen and it is showing up blank like the picture above, Go to Settings > Notifications. Choose to allow Notifications and Set the Show on Lock Screen to ON. If you are using News for the first time, make sure to open the app and choose your channels.

I try this but it’s also showing up blank like screen above; in « Today », it’s marked « No Stories ».

I try then to uninstall and reinstall the App and News widget works again... with USA News, instead of French News.

Silly question the news app is only available in three countries USA Australia and UK. Are you in one of these countries?

screen time is turned on but thé restrictions are off. I have no issues with other widgets.

Yes the screen time appears.

With USA News yes, but I want French News in widget, like before this problem.

I switch back the region to France, and the blank like screen before reappears.

Ok it only available in the countries I mentioned earlier. Ask your friends how they get the news in your native language.
