I don't know what happened.....Since my discovery of icloud library, I lost a lot of music albums!! I don't have the cds...Back then I was buying cds with 3 friends from the university and imported them on my mac!! After I turned on icloud, I have a lot of protected m4p music files that won't import to itunes!! What can I do?? They won't import to itunes....I tried a lot of ''m4p music converter'' but they're all related to itunes...but my song are not in itunes!!

In most cases the .m4p files will be related to an Apple Music account. These files are only valid when downloaded using iTunes. They cannot be reimported into an iTunes library.

They're gone, though if you take a new subscription you could at least use the old files to remind yourself of what you had in your library so you can add them again.

I had one that has lapsed. Yes, they are in apple music folder

I don't think there is anything that you can do. Are these files in a folder called Apple Music? That would confirm their origin. Do you have a subscription to Apple Music, or have you had one that has lapsed?
