Contacts notes field curser jumps or does not respond correctly

Fix seems to be that you have to be very accurate where you place curser. To far to the left and curser turns into a pointer and will not respond. Apple needs to make area to left of text easier to grab

Contacts—entries disappear before saving & jumps to other cards. Adding contacts in a relaxed manner has become impossible. After opening a new contact form and entering one name, the program jumps to an existing contact with that name in it, or it just disappears. I've had to develop a workaround. It works quite well, but is annoying: I put all the data in the Notes App. Then I copy one datum and paste it in the right category. Then I immediately save the file. I put in the most unusual item first because I often have to search for it because the file has disappeared. I do the same for each datum until, after a few entries the whole file stops disappearing. The key seems to be saving quickly, which isn't easy while typing with two fingers.

Mac stopped added contacts (I use a Google Contacts account) I've noticed quite some time that contacts both on my Mac and iPhone is flakey. I use a Google Contacts account not iCloud. On my Mac For quite some time, I have noticed that I would have to enter a contact multiple times before it would record it. Lately, it won't add it at all. I enter all the contact information and it briefly shows the new contact on the left listing and then it disappears. On my iPhone, for years I've noticed that adding notes in Contacts is flaky. I'd add a note to a contact, close the edit and the note disappears. I've gotten into the habit of copying the note before I close so that I can re enter it when it disappears. Eventually it captures it. I see this is happening to others. Come on Apple. Very frustrating.

Various issues with contacts I've had issues with contacts on my iPhone for a while. There seem to be two separate lists that it's working from that I've never figured out how to combine. Mainly this comes up when I type in a name on iMessage and multiple options pop up for the same person. If I go into contacts, there's only one contact and one number saved for the contact. The names will also be slightly different. If I were to text my friend Chris, I'll type in 'Chris' but then 'Chris' and 'Chris W' might pop up. It's been slightly annoying for years and I thought I would finally see if there's a solution. Also a second issue, I've been trying to use the notes function within contacts, and using it consistently crashes the app. Any idea why this would be?
