Set a Print Area in Apple Numbers

I have a MacBook Pro and I am trying to Set a Print Area in Apple Numbers, but when I select the cells i want to print, and then select 'File' I don't seem to have a 'Print area' option to select, or a 'Set Print Area' option to select in the drop-down menu. I have the latest OS software installed.

Select the cells you want to print.

Copy.

Launch Preview.

Choose File > New from clipboard.

Press command-P or go File > Print.

When item has been printed,

Quit Preview.

Choose Don't Save.

This did indeed get me to where i wanted to be, but it does seem to be the long way round.

The wider internet community suggests that you should be able to do it through the Numbers File drop-down area by selecting 'Set/Select Print Area', but there is no visible listing for 'Set or Select Print Area'

Anyway, thank you most sincerely for taking the time to respond to my Q.
