No audio devices found

My phone can’t make calls, record audio of any kind, or use headphones thru the headphone jack. I think it’s a microphone issue. I’ve tried everything in settings and I’ve restarted it a million times. Anything I can try before I take it in to Apple? Is it broken for good?

Microphone not working Anyone else have the problem where the speakers and sound work on their phone, but aything new recorded isn't picked up by the microphone, and calls don't work as theres no sound recording? Updated IOS and still not working so not sure if the microphone has just died?

“No audio device” message on iPhone 7 Plus after latest update i am currently unable to use my mic whatsoever. My video will not record sound, I cannot make calls, my voice memo doesn’t work, and Siri cannot hear me. This happened after the latest update (12.1) and I’m getting very frustrated. During calls, I can’t hear the other person, and they cannot hear me.I have already reset my network connections, and done everything aside from doing a full reset on my phone. Hopefully I am not alone, and someone else has found a work-around?

If still unresolved, then your device has a hardware failure and will require service.

If you have cleaned the Lightning port and restored it as a new device in iTunes then it is time to get it serviced. Click on the Contact Service link at the top right of this page.
