So when my iPad is on and I press where the power button would be used to turn off in older models. Now when I press that button it shuts off completely. Is there a way to turn of this feature if it is even a feature?

All iPad's I've ever owned turn the screen off when you tap the power button and back on when you tap it again. This isn't a new feature. And since we are all users on this forum, none of us are privy to Apple design or function decisions. Personally, this function seems at least to me, to be quite necessary.

Ok. So is it suppose to be doing that,shutting off without holding the top button and volume button. Sometime if I close the flap on my keyboard case than it turns off as well?
Are you saying the iPad Pro 11 powers off when you hold just the power button or are you saying the screen goes off when you touch the power button? What you wrote is to me, somewhat confusing.

Yes, completely normal. And when you tap the same button with the screen off, it turns the screen back on. You also CANNOT change this feature.
Ok this helps. Do you mind telling why they did this on the newer iPad pros?
