have bt. a new Canon printer (TS6150) because Canon say on their website TS6150 is compatible with Mojave neither Canon or Apple can get Mojave to recog./see the printer/scanner(put in the printr IP addr. is useless as then no scanning

Canon website misleading as printer/scanned TS6150 does not recognise printer under Airprint and I hsve referred the matter to Canon experts and AppleCare experts but they cannot solve - can anyone else solve?

Normally your TS6150 will work with AirPrint:

I found this on the Canon website :


This product is compatible with the operating system selected using AirPrint only - a driver is not required. 


The move from Canon drivers to AirPrint has been made to improve the user experience as any future updates will be applied automatically through your operating system.
