Is Genius still available in iTunes (after version 12.9.2.5)

Genius was a great tool to create playlists. But it no longer works with most songs. What happened ?

iTunes Genius Does anybody know how to get iTunes Genius working again? I’ve nit been able to use Genius for a few years now. I constantly get an error saying ‘iTunes cannot be updated’. Is it because I have such a large library? I have over 3Tb, over 11,000 albums. Its a shame. I used to love using Genius, but now it no longer works. Does anybody have a solution, or an alternative player to iTunes that has a feature similar to Genius?

iTunes (12) on Windows - Genius utility stopped working On a PC running Windows 10 (Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 19044.1706), I have installed iTunes for Windows via Microsoft Store. Some days ago I noticed that Genius Utility stopped working by the means that couldn't create a Genius Playlist with any song selected. Furthermore, Genius Library cannot be Updated since Apple cannot deliver me the Genius results. I would like to be informed if there is anybody in the community that can assist me with this issue. How can I create a genius playlist in Apple Music? I have been using Apple Music for around 3 months now. I can see that you can create a new Genius playlist from File>New>Genius Playlist but the option is greyed out for me. Do I need to use Apple Music for longer to unlock the option?

I know that Genius still appears from time to time as an option in the iTunes menus, but it is no longer capable of performing its basic tasks: create play lists based on what is stored in iTunes.
