90 day iTunes Match lockout
I’ve recently acquired another iPhone. How can I find out on my iPhone when the 90 day lockout for signing in on a new ID expires?

I don't think there is a timer currently associated with this device. If there were I don't think you would see the word Transfer there. You can check the association timers connected to your Apple ID in iTunes using Account > View My Account > Manage Device. If there was a timer running on someone else's Apple ID you wouldn't know until you tried to do something that wants to create the association, and then you'd be told how long you would have to wait rather than being given the option to transfer.
Oddly my devices were last associated with my account back in 2017, yet 5 out of 6 of them show a 30 day countdown for reasons I'm not sure of. 🤨

Indeed. If you've clicked transfer and nothing has changed then perhaps you've yet to actually trigger association by downloading a past purchase.

So...
I clicked on the download icon rather than just trying to play the track and got the same message only with the options in blue. Chose transfer and as previously the pop up disappeared but this time the song downloaded and is playable!
Ok, I read it as a generic pop up since I’ve been signed in on this iPhone since Monday. We shall see...
Did you see my edit?

It’s past midnight here so I’ve checked again, same generic message.
I suspect you missed my edit earlier...
It would seem you are currently allowed to switch which ID is associated with the device by clicking Transfer, but will then be locked in for 90 days.

Which brings me back to the original question; how can I see the countdown on my phone?
Guess I’ll have to switch the old PC on. You’d’ve thought that once you’d clicked transfer the message would be different next time, but no.
It looks like it is set to 90 days. Look again tomorrow when it should read 89.
Scratch that, it would seem you are currently allowed to switch which ID is associated with the device by clicking Transfer, but will then be locked in for 90 days.

See View and remove your associated devices in iTunes - Apple Support. Do something that requires association and you will be told there is a countdown if one exists.

I know there is a countdown as when I try to play a song it tells me. What I was trying to find out is how I can find the remainder of the countdown on my iPhone.
