On my iPhone 6 (iOS 12.1.4) I can’t record audio during screen recording because there’s no microphone icon in my Control Center. I suspect that something i did, inadvertently took it away, but I can’t seem to find any related setting to get the microphone icon back. Suggestions, please?

Hold down the screen recording icon and you should see the option to turn the mic on or off.
