YouTube Video Freezes in Safari

Mac mini 2018, Mojave 10.14.4

YouTube video stops after a few minute playing... sound continues when video stops... moving the mouse cursor over the video causes video to start playing
Chrome plays same YouTube videos perfectly

...help!

One weird quirk is that if the notification panel is open the video plays smoothly and doesn't stop... ???

So, thank you... this seems to have worked...

seems to have lots of corruption of PRAM/NVRAM recently.. also solution for USB problems (multiple occurrences) that were happening as well 😕
