Missing Music from iTunes in iMovie

Hi everyone, I'm trying to add some music from my iTunes library in iMovie. In iMovie, I can see SOME of my iTunes library but not ALL of it. I understand there could be some that are protected and not usable in iMovie. It seems none of the recent additions to my iTunes Library are usable. Appreciate any hints/tips, thanks

If you see a note below the audio display pane that the "___ number of songs are protected and unavailable", then possibly that is why you are not seeing them displayed.

Also, songs that are stored in the cloud won't be displayed until they are downloaded to your iTunes library.

Apple Music songs won't display in iMovie either, even if they previously were in your iTunes library, as I understand it.
