Convert old MOV file for use in iMovie

I guess there is a simple solution to this. I have a bunch of old video files from around 2004 - 2006 with an MPG tag. Info about the files is typically as contained in the attached screenshot.

I would just like to import all these files into a video for a 21st birthday. Can the conversion be done on a mac, or do I have to download some kind of converter? Thanks!

PS The heading of this post is wrong BTW (but I can't change it) - the file type is not MOV but MPG

Hi,

You can use the free download, Handbrake, to convert to Mp4/AAC, that Handbrake will do by default. You can get the Handbrake download at this website:
