My iPad stopped connecting to my adapter. Adapter still works with other devices.

  1. Fire Wire is a data transfer protocol and port. It does not support direct video output.
  2. No iPad has ever had a Fire Wire port. If you mean lightning or the old 30 pin connector, try rebooting your iPad.

Do you mean Lightning to HDMI adapter?

There is no FireWire to HDMI adapters, as far as I am aware.

Try disconnecting/reconnecting the Digital AV adapter with all cables still attached.

If still no joy,

Try a hard reset of your iPad by holding down both the Home and sleep/wake buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with Apple logo, then release the buttons with the adapter still connected with HDMI cable.

Good Luck to You!
