apple watch logo after placed on charger

we left the watch not charged for couple of months and later tried t charge, it shows apple logo while placed on charger and not getting charge at all

Apple Watch Not Charging Hello, I have not used my apple watch in months. When i tried to charge it only shows the apple logo and goes back off. Keeps doing this when it is plugged to the charger, but does not come up, once you unplug it does not show anything at all.

Sounds if the battery needs to be replaced. Call your local Apple store to make an appointment.
