Hello, I've been having trouble sending gifs through iMessage lately. When I send them they take a while to send and when my friends receive it, it shows it pretty small and pixelated. When they send a gif to me it shows up just fine. Is there a fix to this?

There is no low quality setting fro the macOS Low Quality setting—
I would go to >System Preferences>iCloud> and Sign Out, then sign back in again to see if this resolves your issue.

On the iOS device you can enable it by sliding the Low Quality Image Mode knob in Settings → Messages to the ON position. The wording of this cool new feature makes it clear it only applies to the images you send to others, not the ones you receive.
