itunes stops playing music when I add a song to a playlist or to my library

Almost every time I try to add a song to my library or add it to a playlist, my song stops playing and the playback is lost along with my queued songs. This only happens on my laptop, never on my iPhone.

It is 2019 and there is still no answer or fix from apple. It is highly frustrating issue, so I thought I'd try creating another post to get Apple's attention. Please try to fix this before another 3 years goes by.
