'@' added to text messages

Hi,

Text messages to and from my phone now have the @ symbol attached to the end of most messages. Have received and sent messages from/to 3 people with different phones and providers and the symbol is on theirs and my messages - about every 3rd message.

Recently updated some apps on my phone, maybe this?

Did a restart with no luck
