I have sent my photos to the iCloud - about 7000. I cannot see how to view them. I have followed instructions about but it will not take me to them.
If the Photos.app did upload photos to iCloud, you should be seeing them at www.icloud.com, if you sign in with your AppleID and then open the Photos.app there.
iCloud Drive does not show your iCloud Photos. On your Mac you need to open the Photos.app.
This looks like the solution, Leonie. Thank you very much. Unfortunately Apple does not seem to recognise me and I cannot get further than "Try Again". I am going to have to stop for the night, I think, before I go crackers! I will try the address you suggested when I have sorted out the problems. Thanks, again.

How have you done that? Did you enable iCloud Photos, so your Photos Library has been uploading the photos to iCloud?
I thought I had as it kept telling me it was downloading photos. I had linked to the Cloud. I have had several attempts over two days but although I can see other documents I have saved to the Cloud I cannot find any photos.
After much difficulty have finally reached the Cloud!! Thank you so much for your help.
