How do I stop messages from going to Ipad from my phone?

My texts come through my iPhone and my iPad. How do I sto them from going to my iPad, too?

iPhone 8, iOS 11

Settings > Messages > Send and Receive > turn off iMessage and uncheck email and phone number in Send and Receive. Boom, no more text messages will appear on your iPad.

If you do that on your iPhone you won't get text messages on your phone. If you want to not get text messages on your iPad, do this ONLY on your iPad.
