My Netflix keeps signing out automatically when I exit the app from my Apple TV3

It’s a proper pain. There has not been an update for the 3rd App tv in a few years, as far as I am aware.

I think it might be time to upgrade to the 4th gen app tv. I reckon that might

solve the Netflix issue.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE.....Apple TV 3rd Gen keeps signing me out of Netflix. I have logged in and out of itunes on the apple TV and I have factory reset the apple TV. The issue remains.

Any help would be much appreciated! Should I just upgrade to 4th Gen Apple TV?

Same deal. Started yesterday on my gen 3. Logs me out and gives me that same deactivated code. Tried everything. No avail. Super frustrating. Looks like an update was completed as I have apple events now.

My issue is fixed at last!

I tried everything I could think of, as per my last few posts- restored app tv to factory settings and changed settings on netflix- removed all devices which were allowed to stream from netflix- all to no avail.

Just a few minutes ago I unplugged the apple TV for approx 3-5 mins and plugged it back in and its now logging into Netflix no probs. How did this resolve the issue? But its working! This may or may not help you.
