How do I debug my mac/iphone

My iMac and iPhone seem to have a mind of their own at times. Screens blink as if screen shots are taken without me taking them. Just need to know how to debug the systems and make sure that people are kept out... Any help would be great.

Thank you, please do the following and we can look for any obvious problems.

Please navigate to the Mac App Store and download the free version of EtreCheck. OR Please click ttp://www.etrecheck.com/ where you will find the app. Once you downloaded the free app and created the report please post it as your reply to this post. In order to post it, please use the following link for more detailed instructions on how to correctly post the results:

We can then look for obvious issues that may be causing your problem.

First, please read https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-5931 , when posting we need specifics including:

  1. Which iMac & iPhone you own
  2. The versions of the operating system on each device
  3. Specifics about the issues you are experiencing

As we are all volunteer end users like yourself (Apple does not read or participate in these forums) we rely heavily on you to write effective questions so we can write effective answers.

For your problems I would begin by doing basic restarts of each device and then testing. If the problem persists please do steps 1-3.

Thank you.
