Help! Time lapse loading forever

Same. Have lost some incredible content as time lapses are how show all my work come together to share with others. It’s why I got the biggest baddest iPhone a few months ago and now it’s most important piece to me just eats my footage up and never lets it see the light of day. Worse part is that both apple and android based companies are all ****. Are we gonna have people on Mars before we can have a phone that simply works? Let the jailbreakers back so we can pick up your slack where needed to grab things that are hopefully in the root where they belong after filming.

Same as everyone else, I've been experiencing this problem since I upgraded to iPhone 11 Pro, it happens especially with longer lapses which makes it extra infuriating when it doesn't work. This type of problem shouldn't take more than a year to fix- iOS 13 should have resolved it, why such a long wait? Please Please Please fix this issue, bump it up in the "to-do" pile Apple.

if you dont trust your feature or cant fix it just remove it so that we wont relay on it and loose important moments memories!

such a joke. Here all this work and marketing went into a camera yet you can’t even shoot timelapses of any real length without the high risk of it not being able to save. I’ve lost pure gold of documenting art projects from beginning to end. Nothing worse then framing a shot, spending a few hours on creating your piece and then boom. Apple ate your content in its never ending loading spiral. It’s 2020 y’all get it together. At least tell us how low of resolution we have to set our phones to in order to capture time lapses.

I have an iPhone 11pro max and I filmed important videos for my business only get one shot at it and every time lapse I took is stuck in this loading stage is there anyway to get the videos they are extremely important had iPhone X max before never had this issue

I’m having the same issue on an iPhone 11 Pro and my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I have tried to take a time lapse over 13 minutes at a time lapse over five minutes neither of which have loaded. The two devices are on different carriers, and I have also had them on Wi-Fi.

Same problem here with an iPhone Pro 512GB.

I recorded this week a great time-lapse video that now is not loading. I tried everything, restarting the phone, turning off Live Photos, and even left the phone for 9 straight hours trying to load the video without success.

I'm astonished this thing has been going for months and it isn't fixed yet.

This have been happening to me too! I am on 128gb iPhone XR iOS13.3.1 (latest official release)

The most of my time lapse since iOS12 takes forever to load even after over a day passes. This is crucial bug Apple never fixes or even mind responding. Disappointed Apple fan here.

what u’ve given options doesn’t works any more! The last option is just to delete it! Or take only 1Minuta time-lapse! I’m using iPhone 11 Pro max 250GB everything is upto date! This is only unsuccessful of iPhone we all iPhone user hopes! 🤔

Does anyone know of any third party apps that work okay for time lapse?

Timelapse is a USELESS feature for iPhone and Apple are useless for not even addressing the problem. I will probably end up buying a phone with a camera that works, and I suggest you all do the same.

I posted on this page last month and I still haven’t found a resolution for this issue even though I’m updating on 13.4.1 and have gone through some of the Avelar troubleshooting steps of resetting my phone I still cannot get time lapse to work on my iPhone 11 pro or iphone 11 pro max. Clearly this is an issue from apple as my devices are are two different carriers experiencing the same issue, the inability to get time lapses to play after they are recorded. I am having the issue with both videos under two minutes and over two minutes my longest attempt at a time-lapse being around 7 minutes. Please help.

I also have this problem. Is there any way to fix it? I tried shutting down all apps, restarting the phone, and letting it load for about 30m to see if it just required patience. I only shot the time lapse for about 1-3 minutes and haven’t been able to watch it yet.

Same issue here. I have an iPhone XR 64GB, running iOS 13.5.1.

I made a timelapse video and it has been saying "Loading..." for 20 minutes and it eats up several gigabytes of storage, even though I recorded only 3-4 minutes. I can't even delete it because when I remove it and empty the recycle bin as well, it somehow reappears in the Photo app few hours later. It's crazy!

Almost every timelapse video has this issue which I recorded longer than a minute. Only about every 4th timelapse video comes out without issues.

So was waiting for a time lapse to start working from New Years Day 2020. Backed up and restored my phone a few weeks ago and it looks like it was automatically deleted.

Great just great Apple, thanks for deleting the evidence.
