Help! Time lapse loading forever

Same issue running iOS 13.2 and latest 13.3 on iPhone 11 Pro. Time-Lapse has been stuck on loading for days, need it for tomorrow for a friends wedding! Really hope someone has a solution, but from the respons in the forum, seems it's a bug which has yet to be fixed.

I’m on my honeymoon, and setup my iPhone 11 Pro Max (13.3) for a time lapse of the sunset. It was the only day I had time too to this... it was about 1.5 hours of recording and now it won’t stop “loading” either and o can’t playback. So annoyed. I left my DSLR thinking Apple has finally done it... big mistake!!

Yup: I filmed a bunch of clips while in India this past week, and same deal. While I love the convenience of my iPhone camera over my Sony full-frame, the unreliability of such videos (even the non-timelapse ones!) makes it hard to trust for keeping my memories and once-in-lifetime trips ...

Where's the channel to actually reach Apple feedback? We should be submitting feedback there, since they don't monitor these community discussions.

I’ve contacted Apple multiple times over the last 3-4 months through their feedback forms - gave them any bit of info I thought might help. I’ve heard nothing. Not even just an acknowledgment of the problem. It’s infuriating.

I travelled all the way to Dubai to watch the fireworks. This has just happened to me on my iPhone 11 Pro 512GB :( I don’t know what to do! It’s such a disgrace that this has gone on this long! Restarting my phone didn’t solve anything...

Same problem happened to me! I was recording the fireworks in time lapse on the top of the building in the cold for about 2- 3 minutes, but it didn’t work. It keeps loading. Ugh. I got IPhone 11 Pro, 256. So disappointed!! Hope they can fix it sooner.

I’m having same problem.

First sunrise of 2020 time lapse which is amazing and it won’t play.

I can drag it in edit mode to see it but it won’t play.

Restarted iPhone 11Pro Max and it didn’t help.

I guess I have features on my expensive smartphone that I can’t use?

it says it’s a 21:00 movie which was like real time and not time lapse.

I know I set it to time lapse.

I made a timelapse for 2 mins but its not playing now ! Whats the problem with the iphone , I’m using the most updated iphone which is iphone 11 . Why is that problem is occurring. And how to resolve it ? I need my videos back

Same problem here. Iphone 11 Pro Max. Did a 20 minutes or so timelapse and after 5 hours i still get the loading message. And i am 100 % sure i took the timelapse with the 1x camera but it seems from what i can see under the loading picture that the video was taken with the 2x camera. Hope that they will fix this bug.

So I’ve gone to yet another country for holiday and took another time lapse today. The same thing has happened again!

This is disgraceful service. For a brand new IPhone 11 Pro 512GB. At least tell us that you’re working on a solution Apple?

P.S. Has anyone tried transferring the time lapse to their computer and seeing if it works then?

I just came here to post a “me too” while crying. iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 GB. You would expect something as basic as a time lapse would work, but it doesn’t. I’ve lost great memories with this bug and it’s frustrating knowing it’s been on for so long now...

same issue. Super important video totally lost because the engineers at Apple can’t or won’t figure out this bug

data loss bugs are the most serious in nature.. but Apple won’t fix it

I can confirm this is very much still an issue. Was recording for about 5 minutes today and it is stuck on loading and does nothing else.

I can't believe that after almost one year of the initial post of this topic, Apple still haven't fix the problem! I'm running iOS 13.3.1 using iPhone 11 Pro, this bug of loading forever after shooting time lapse is really not acceptable for a device costs up to $1,300+. Please fix this problem soon!

New 11 Pro Max 512GB, paid a fortune for it mainly for video. Tried to make a 45-60ish minute timelapse of a Bangkok skyline sunset, on january 19th. Still loading. Still hating my expensive phone for it. Obviously it’s a processing thing, so I still have hope Apple can fix this (sort of once in a lifetime) video for me. Hope is fading though when I read this thread
