Does iTunes for Windows support Bluetooth?

Thanks, I'll give it a try but I don't think this will work. There is a message from iTunes that it is not paired with any remotes.

Are you sure that's what it's telling you? Even if it is;

1. I wouldn't regard Bluetooth as "a remote". If iTunes doesn't either, then it's correct - it is not paired with any remote.
2. On my Windows 10 laptop, it's Windows and my computer that send to Bluetooth, not iTunes. There is however, a setting in Windows* Audio Mixer that can be set to send iTunes' output to the default device, or something in particular. If that setting is not set to default, perhaps that's the issue.

I don't believe so, but Windows may be able to route the system audio out to your Bluetooth device without iTunes having anything to do with it.

What are you doing that triggers that? See Set up the iTunes Remote app for iTunes on Mac - Apple Support. Setting up an iOS device to remotely control or access an iTunes library has nothing to do with Windows routing the default audio output from external speakers to a Bluetooth device. Read the manual that came with your device.
