but APPLE NEWS is missing! - How can I get it?

Can I get Apple News + on High Sierra OS? Tried to sign up for Apple News+ but it just sends me to how to update OS then back to promo page. Have a late 2011 Macbook Pro so it won't update to Mojave. Is all the new products just announced only for those who can get Mojove??

Apple News is only available in the US, UK and Australia.
