Mojave on MacBook Pro doesn’t connect to internet

1Ghen restarted. In /var/log/system.log I just see lots of net connection errors, as one might expect.This has happened to me before, but a restart usually fixed it. Not this time. Both my Ethernet and WiFi say they are connected, and I can login to my router. However, I cannot connect to anything on the internet on my MacBook Pro. Both my iPhone and iPad Pro (typing on it now) are connected to the internet (I have AT&T fiber into my house). Because the Network says it is connected, I have no button to troubleshoot. I restarted my modem/router, but since the iPhone and iPad can both connect to WiFi, I know that isn’t the problem. I’m running out of things to try. Just before this happened, the OS was wedged. I could move the mouse, but I couldn’t click anything. So, I forced a shutdown and tB

I resolved this. There is a Kill Switch setting in Avast VPN to disconnect the internet if VPN suddenly disconnects. Unfortunately, I did not see any notification that this had happened or any way to restore my internet but to turn this setting off. I'm going to ask Avast how to do that in future.
