Can a phone have multiple eSIMs?

I understand that you can only have two active SIMs but can you have multiple eSIMs stored in the phone as profiles? Can you activate two eSIM profiles at the same time instead of one eSIM and one regular SIM?

eSIM is great, every phone should have this, phone plans by e-mail is a game changer.

You can store multime e-sims in the iPhone yes. You can only have one e-sim active at any one time.

You can store more than one eSIM in your iPhone, but you can use only one at a time. To switch eSIMs, tap Settings, tap either Cellular or Mobile Data, and then tap the plan you want to use. Then tap Turn On This Line.
