Safari won't open weather.com - and other sites

Been posting these problems for years - Apple seems to be in denial over them - and while some people post "things to try" - and I've tried them all, this is a problem with Safari. I run 3 browsers and Safari is easily my favorite which makes this all that much worse...lol

The problem do not exist with Firefox, Chrome, Opera, IE, or any other browser on any other platform (I'm running 3 macs, 2 windows pcs, and a windows server).

If I do a force quit of Safari it then opens up Weather.com, slowly, but then it never fully loads the page.

This happens with Facebook, Instagram, news sites but never with smaller sites, no java/flash type sites, text sites.

Currently running the latest version of Safari but this has been happening for years - just Google it and you'll find the same problem going back to 2009, at least. Not sure why Apple - of all companies - can't fix this once and for all!

I have no problems accessing weather.com, Facebook or news sights.

Not knowing what you have tried, if you haven't done this, see if things are any different. Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.

I am in weather dot com multiple times a day with High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G5019) and Mojave 10.14.3 (18D109) — both using Safari 12.0.3. I also keep my history, cookies, and browser cache emptied between browser sessions. Just a habit. No issues accessing this or other weather site, across multiple older macOS, or Safari browser versions.

If you force-quit Safari, the next time that you launch it, keep the shift key held down to prevent loading anything from the previous browser session.

You haven't mentioned it, but do you have any anti-adware, pop-up, etc. blocker extensions added to Safari?
