adding srt to premiere project

I'm trying to add subtitles to a Premiere CC 2019 project

I have a proper SRT file which I created in a previous version and converted with text edit as UTF8

While the original file is over 01:42:50 when I import the file to the premiere project I only see 00:05:12:00

in other words the beginning of my file.

Can anyone give me some hints on how to import them all?

I am working in a feature film and we absolutely need to add these subs ....

Of course I could do them all again copying the text form the previous file but is really time consuming ....
