Finder Favorites - Move and Reset when restarting computer

Hi - Every time I restart my computer, my Favorites in my Finder Sidebar reset and rearrange, seem to add old favorites that were removed.

I deleted my Finder Side bar preferences files in the Library and deleted the trash, did a restart, relaunched finder and the problem still persists.

Has anyone come across this issue?

Boot into Safe Mode, Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac, and check the Favorites there. If moved rearrange and reboot normally.

NOTE: Safe Mode boot can take up to 10 minutes as it's doing some system cache cleaning, volume verifying and directory repairing.

The cache cleaning often fixes issues like you're experiencing.
