MacPro 3,1 GPU Wont Work

I have a MacPro early 2008 with a Nvidia GeForce 8800 512mb. I am try to use a new card (GTX 560 TI) which at first did not work but after I reset the VRAM, it worked really well. But then this afternoon i got on and it went all black. I reset the VRAM again but no luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Help getting RX580 GPU to display in 4,1 mac pro Hello everyone! I recently purchased an AMD RX580 Sapphire Nitro video card for my 4,1 mac pro in order to upgrade to macOS Mojave. After installing the GPU in the system I can't seem to get a picture from Mac. After Powering up the system the RX580 fans spin to life but no image. I understand I will not see a boot screen since it's a non-efi card but even after leaving it for 20 minutes it still shows no life. I have already updated my macs firmware to be a 5,1 instead of a 4,1 and am running macOS High Sierra. MacOS High Sierra supports the RX580 so I don't understand why it wouldn't like it. The card also reciving full power as far as I'm aware aswell. Any Ideas? Thanks!

MacPro Mid 2010, issue with RX 580 graphics card Hello, I updated my MacPro (mid 2010) to 10.13.6 using my original graphics card. I bought an AMD RX 580, the dual six pin to eight pin connector, and a mini-DP to DP adaptor for my Cinema Display Monitor. I installed the new graphics card, however when I boot up I get the chime and then nothing. The graphics card does light up and the fans do spin up upon start. I have tried waiting 5 minutes for the login screen to appear (I know it won't show the grey screen), but nothing ever shows. I have tried the SMC+PRAM reset, booting with only the 10.13.6 hard drive in the bay (and removing all other hard drives with backups and such), and cannot seem to get a login screen. Appreciate any advice on how to solve the issue before I have to lug this into a repair store.

Do you now hear the startup chime?

Does the Power light remain steady on?

Do you hear/see fans operating? You can safely remove the side covery.
