I can't access my camera roll from within my messages app on 12.1.4
While in the messaging app, I used to be able to access my camera roll by pressing the camera icon to the left of where you type your message. You had the choice of taking a picture or scrolling through your camera roll. Now it only brings up the camera. In order to send a photo, I would have to exit the messaging app, go to the camera roll and send it from there.
I did figure out that I had to press the App icon to the left of the message bar to bring up an app shortcut bar at the bottom of the screen which included a photo icon for accessing the camera roll. So, basically that is fixed.
However, in the process of trying to figure this out, I was comparing my phone to my husband's phone, same phone, same iOS version. I see on his that when I press the camera icon next to the message bar, within the messaging app, the camera opens. His phone has a small photo icon in the upper left corner of the camera screen. When you press this icon, the camera roll comes up. I don't have this option on my phone. Does anyone know how to get that/what settings I have to change, etc.?
