Question

HP LaserJet not collating on Mac.

I am running a HP LaserJet 4200tn. Collates print jobs fine from my PC but will not collate from my Mac Retina 5K Mohave 10.14.3 despite any selection where I check the "collate" box.

I collate to my Brother MFC-J4710DW from both the Mac and PC with no problem.

How do I resolve and collate on the HP from the Mac?

iMac 27" 5K, macOS 10.14

Printer drivers are provided by the print manufacturer, so troubleshooting specific printing problems we would point you back to HP's support.

However if the device ever worked with that feature on your Mac then I'd reset the printing system and start over. To do a print reset please read Reset Printing System
