Not able to connect to iTunes on MacBook Pro 2018 model.

Tried connecting my 4th Generation iPod touch to the MacBook Pro.

Itunes doesn't identify the device nor it charges the device.

iPod is in immaculate condition and works well otherwise.

can not sync ipod with pc all of a sudden when I plug my Ipod into the PC, the itunes is not allowing me to sync the ipod. It does show it as a device. I have made sure that the drivers are up to date. I have tried different cords and different USB ports.

I had this problem with my iPad. It turned out that after restarting both devices and getting a new cable, it worked. I hope this helps!
