Evenly distribute 4+ objects of different sizes in Keynote

Is there an easy way to evenly distribute 4+ objects of different sizes in keynote? It's easy when you have three because you can just use the auto-guides to mess with the middle object until the spacing markers show that it's equidistant from the outside objects. But once you get to 4+ objects of various sizes, the "distribute evenly, horizontally, vertically" options are useless. Has anyone come up with a solution for this? I saw this old thread on the same topic, but the solution presented only works for 3 objects.
