Weather widget in Dashboard not working

Hello,

I don't believe many people use Dashboard much, though it has been around since Tiger. Most of the widgets are outdated, but it is a nice quick view for me. I understand you may view the weather via Siri or Notification Center. However, I find it easier to view five-day weather for multiple locations via Dashboard.

Recently, I have been unable to view the weather via the Dashboard widget. It had worked for me previously on Mojave, I'm not sure if support was recently dropped for it. Could be because it sourced Yahoo, new weather methods are sourced from weather.com. Either way, wanted to know if anyone still cares about Dashboard, or has any input for resolution.

I have removed all instances of the weather widgets, and performed an SMC reset. Location Services are enabled on my MacBook.

I have included screenshots of how a new widget appears for me. I enter my location...

...yet the widget is determined to give me the weather for Cupertino.

Thanks in advance,

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.14

I don't accept this as Solved - I accept this as a SLAP IN THE FACE APPLE - You change settings that make no difference to you but make a difference to us all the time. I use about 20 different Widgets at least once daily literally 'at the flick of a wrist' from calc. to dictionary, weather, SImpleNote and stickies and a lot more.

Not ALL OF US WERE BORN with Cellphones glued to our hand like the Millennial gen. running your company now. Just so you know, Mac is the reason you have your techie job and hour Yoga lunch. Just saying. Stop slapping Mac-users in the face, it's almost like it's spite!

The weather in Notifications is nice for some applications, as it is a port from iOS weather. It's just annoying that Dashboard hasn't had any changes since its incarnation, was the precursor to Stocks on the Mac, etc. Hopefully Apple will change its source, but for now I'll use the weather in Notification Center.

I'm marking this thread as solved, I didn't search about the topic before posting. Usually there's an echo chamber when I do, but the results I found have pretty much the same response.

Thanks again,
