Mojave crashing every 15 minutes MacBook Pro

Upgraded to Mojave a few days ago and ever since computer is crashing every 15 minutes or so with no Apps running. Have upgraded to latest version released today still crashing. Had computer at Authorised Apple repairer who tested everything and could find nothing. He said it was software problem Mojave and in fact had had a few computers in with same problem since Friday. At my wits end. Any help would would be appreciated.

What does the "crash" look like? Is it a kernel panic? If your Mac spontaneously restarts or displays a message that it restarted or shut down because of a problem - Apple Support

Barney yes it's a Kernal Crash. Have now isolated it to Time Machine automatic backups. With Time Machine turned on for automatic Back ups it was crashing every 15 minutes or so. Have turned auto back ups off and not crashing now. Have in fact started a manual back up and appears to be running ok without crashing. So appears to be the automatic Time Machine back up toggle that is the problem. Any idea how to fix? Thanks.
