Error 4005 (6s iphone+no home button)

Hello, I'm experiencing error 4005 on a 6s, but I have no home button. I think it is causing a restart issue to where itunes is not able to restart/update/restore. Do i need to go get a home button to fix this issue?

What happens when i plug it into my mac/itunes and I start to update, it only gets a couple steps in to where it says "waiting for iphone" and my phone has the white screen w/ apple logo. it stays like that and then a box pops up saying i cannot update or restore. When I look up steps to fix this, it tells me to restart my phone w/ side & home button, which i cannot do, thus me thinking i probably need one to do this.

Thank you!

Hey allyfought,

Thanks for reaching out via Apple Support Communities. I understand that you're getting an error message in iTunes and you're unable to restore or update your iPhone because your home button is missing. Due to the nature of the issue, you’ll want to get your home button replaced and you can find more appropriate help by using another one of Apple's support resources to help get this resolved. You can reach out to us using the following link: Contact Apple Support.

Alternatively, you can visit an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider near you that can take a look at this using this link here: Find Locations

Cheers.
