How to remove a source from TV app?

I want to remove Showtime as a source from the TV app.

iOS 12.2.

Go to Settings/TV.

Under Connect To TV I tap the slider for Showtime to turn it off.

Get this message:

The TV app opens.

As far as I can tell, there are no settings in the app itself.

Thanks for any help or advice.

Hello randyw57,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. If I understand your post correctly, you want to delete Showtime as a resource from the TV app. I'd like to help.

The following article will help you to cancel the Showtime subscription.

After canceling the subscription you can then go into the TV app and turn it off.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Have a great day!

Hi, i_rina!

I understand about cancelling the subscriptions in iTunes.

The part that has me stumped is where I should ‘go into the TV app and turn it off.’.

I can’t find anything inside my TV app that looks like it will control content sources.

I’ll attach a picture of my TV app. If you can describe a path through that app to those controls, I’ll give it a try!!!
