movie code redeemed at wrong resolution

I redeemed a few digital codes from a Fast and Furious Blu-ray set on the iTunes store, and one of them, Fast & Furious 6 Extended Version, only redeemed in SD for some reason. The other films in the set redeemed in HD, as they should, and some were even eligible for the 4K upgrade. I'm not seeing an obvious way to contact Apple to see if they can rectify it...

why in hell I can't redeem digital code of DVD I got for Christmas into Apple TV? Why isn't possible to redeem DVD with digital code into Apple TV or iTunes?
