old MacBook trackpad and USB port are hopelessly broken. Need to find out if it’s Bluetooth works so I can use a Bluetooth mouse to use the MacBook . Can’t afford new one now.
The 2012 MacBook Pro comes with two USB 3 ports. You're saying both are not working, in addition to, the trackpad?

It depends on how old your MacBook, macOS and bluetooth version.
Try to get bluetooth mouse which is compatible with macOS version of your MacBook.
Thank you for your response. No ports function . Trackpad broken. That is why I wanted to see if I could get a wireless Bluetooth mouse that would work with it . I will have to bring laptop to be repaired . I wanted to see to see if I could find out if I could use a Bluetooth mouse with it.
