Japanese Kanji Character fix?

I was wondering why the kanji character for “han” (meaning half) is not how it normally looks? This is was it looks like on my iPhone in the picture above. This is what it looks like on my sister’s android (specifically on samsung galaxy). And this is what it is supposed to look like as well because this is also how you write it.

I’m not sure if there are other character mistakes but this is the one I have come across for the first time.

Many such characters have slightly different forms in China, Japan, and Korea. It looks like you are seeing the Korean form. To fix this go to settings > general > language and make sure that Japanese is higher than Korean on the Preferred Languages list.
